We offer 229 centrally air-conditioned rooms including 28 suites, offering luxurious style and comfort.  Traditional hand-tufted rugs on rich teakwood floors are set off by elegant silk and organza furnishings. Carefully handpicked paintings, reminiscent of the city’s colonial heritage, adorn the walls. The décor is complemented by the finest conveniences of the 21st century. Taj Bengal provides an elegant setting for hosting high-level meetings and upscale private events. Our Crystal Hall is capable of hosting up to 550 people theatre-style and up to 800 for a dinner and dance. Our outdoor venues can accommodate up to 1000 attendees for a reception. The hotel can also accommodate smaller events in our 3 boardrooms that hold anywhere between four and eight people. There are two boardrooms exclusively for Taj Club members that can accommodate between 8 to 14 people.
