Mountain Resort is located in the Ayarpani village of Almora. It is situated at an altitude of 2000 meters (6600ft.) above sea level. It is 22kms. By motor road, north of Almora town.
Accommodation at Mountain Resort is provided in round cottages facing the vast Himalayan range. Those wanting an antique touch can opt for the bungalow (The main house). All the rooms in the bungalow and the cottages at Mountain Resort are furnished double rooms and each room has an attached bath cum toilet. There is 24 hour running water in the bath rooms. Each bathroom has a geyser for hot water facility.
The dishes on offer are strictly vegetarian but simply delicious. There is a lot of variety ranging from Punjabi to Gujrati to South Indian. The continental cuisine is mouth watering too.
