The Carlton

The Carlton is located just a kilometer away from the Kodai bus stand. The closest railway station is at Kodai Road, 80 kilometers away and the closest airport is at Madurai, 120 kilometers away.

There are a total of 91 rooms categorized into 84 Deluxe rooms, 3 Cottages and 4 Suites. All, except 15 rooms are lake facing. The Suites and Cottages are carpeted whereas the deluxe rooms have wooden flooring. The Suites being the highest room category offered at The Carlton have a big balcony in the front overlooking the lake. All the rooms in the hotel have a refrigerator and there is a mini bar available only in the Suites and Cottages. All the rooms have direct dialing STD and local calling facilities, mineral water, hot and cold running water, writing pad and pencils and 24 hour room service. Also, some of the rooms are interconnecting for families. The Cottages are like quaint little houses with a lush green lawn out in the front and a porch.

The hotel offers three dining facilities. The restaurant Silver Oak is a multi cuisine restaurant that has warm interiors with wooded flooring and beige, brown and white upholstery. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast that is complimentary for in-house guests.  There is a la carte menu available as well. End of the Road is a warm and cosy bar with stone and glass walls and a plasma television. Finally, there is the coffee shop called The Hearth, which has a fireplace and magnificent chimney right in the centre of the coffee shop. 

There are four conference halls; Wellington that has a capacity of 15 - 20 people, the Cumberland Conference Hall with wooden floors and walls and a separate area for snacks and drinks. There Silver Oak & Ice conference halls have a capacity of 150 people, while another conference hall has a maximum capacity of 90 people.
