Khimsar Sand Dunes Village lies six kilometers from the Khimsar Fort and is accessible by jeep, horse or camel. It is approximately 90 km from Jodhpur, which is also the nearest railhead and airport.
It offers comfortable accommodation 16 traditionally designed huts. Each hut has a 17 ft thatched grass dome and an independent courtyard which provides perfect privacy. The rooms overlook the water body with the sand dunes as a backdrop and have interiors that are truly ethnic. The retro styled furniture is made of heavy wood with iron strapping while mud plastered walls wear an earthen color palette. Each hut has open air showers with hot & cold running water.
The hotel also has an in-house restaurant and a bar. Continental and Rajasthani cuisine served waterside or atop the dunes.
