Ozar is located in the Pune district and is known largely for the Vigneshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Ozar belongs to the Junner Taluka. Astha Vinayak literally means Eight Ganesha and thus this state sports the largest number of temples to the Sankat Mochan or Destroyer of obstacles as Lord Ganesha is often referred to. Most of the eight temples are concentrated in and around Pune at Moregaon Siddhatek Pali Mahad Theur Lenyandri Ranjangaon and Ozar.
