Located about a hundred kilometres from Mumbai Nagaon promises to be a perfect destination to unwind during weekends. The chances are that you will leave this place with a promise to returnthe next weekend. To get to Nagaon get on the Mumbai-Goa highway and stop at Karnala for a brief respite. Head towards Alibag and at the Jakatnaka in Alibag you will find a left turn that will lead you to Nagaon which lies just seven kilometres away. The Nagaon beach is inviting and the sea invigorating. For the cricket crazy Mumbaikars this beach is good enough to hold a limited-over match. You can enjoy almost total privacy as it is still not a very popular holiday place.
