Chail is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh India. It once served as the summer capital of His Highness Maharaja Adhiraj Bhupinder Singh of Patiala. Located at an altitude of 2250 m above the sea level and spread over three hills Chail is a beautiful hill station 43 km from Shimla. In fact Chail is one of the few hill-stations not developed by the British and you will not see any remnants of the Raj here.Surrounded by thick deodar forest it a haven for hiking and trekking.
