Achanakmar Tiger Reserve is situated in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh at north west between the Maikal Ranges of Satpura hills. The sanctuary is very rich in fauna.

By Roadways: From Bilaspur the park is around 56 kms and from Amarkantak it is 21 kms. It can also be approach from Bandhavgarh
(225 kms) & Kanha Mukki Gate (230 kms).
