Bhimavaram is a town and mandal in the West Godavari District in the state of Andhra Pradesh India. Bhimavaram is also called the "Second Bardoli of India". Mahatma Gandhi coined the name when he visited the town during the freedom movement in India. The northern part of Bhimavaram is known as "One Town" and the southern part of Bhimavaram is known as "Two Town".
